Timothy L. Blevins joins Meru Health’s Advisory Board

We are thrilled to welcome Timothy Blevins to Meru Health’s Advisory Board, further strengthening our commitment to delivering innovative and accessible mental healthcare. With a distinguished career in behavioral health, managed care, and health equity, Tim brings invaluable expertise that will help Meru Health expand its impact in the digital mental health space.

A leader in behavioral health and managed care

Timothy L. Blevins is a healthcare executive with over 30 years of health plan experience, including clinical, behavioral health and healthcare delivery system innovation on behalf of Fortune 500 multi-national and US national companies globally and domestically.  Tim is a national subject matter expert on Behavioral Health Digital/Technology Innovation, Clinical and Commercialization Strategy.  He has held executive level positions with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield Rhode Island and most recently Senior Vice President, Employer Channel with Optum Behavioral Health.  

He currently works with digital health startups as an independent consultant and advisor. He has an undergraduate degree from Stetson University in Deland, FL, a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford.

Driving innovation in digital mental health

With Tim’s expertise in value-based care, payer partnerships, and behavioral health innovation, we are excited to explore new ways to make our program even more accessible through health plan and employer collaborations.

Tim’s leadership will play a crucial role as we continue to scale Meru Health’s science-backed, structured mental health programs, which have been shown to significantly reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and burnout. His deep knowledge of health plan strategy and his commitment to reducing mental health disparities will help us further refine our approach to meeting the needs of diverse populations.
